Terms of use

What these terms cover
These terms govern the use of this website and the content published on it. They are not the agreement under which engagement work is delivered. That is a separate signed contract, and nothing on this page varies it. Where a governing law or a dispute process matters, the engagement contract is what controls.
Using this site
You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and send it to whoever you like.
Do not attack it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or use it to impersonate us. If something here breaks, tell us at [email protected].
What the content on this site is
It is general information. The guides, the arithmetic and the service descriptions explain how we work and how we would think about a problem. They are not advice about your specific business, and reading them does not make us your advisors.
The worked examples use invented numbers. Every example on this site says so where it appears. They show the shape of a calculation. They are not a forecast, a benchmark or an estimate of what your business would produce.
The prices are real and current. $12,500 for the Operating Diagnostic. $75,000 to $150,000 for Foundation and Deployment. $25,000 to $40,000 for a single workflow at the entry tier. Monthly coverage from $3,500. They are our commercial design rather than an observed market rate, and they may change -- but they are the numbers we are actually quoting, which is why they are published where you can read them without a call.
Client identities and results are published only by permission. We do not publish a client's name, logo or engagement outcome without that client's written permission. If anything on this site reads as a claim we have not evidenced, tell us and we will correct it or take it down.
What we do not claim
- We are not a university, an accredited institution, a nonprofit, a standards authority or a certifier. Using a published framework -- the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, for example -- does not mean we are certified by its authors, and nothing on this site should be read that way.
- Our financial work is management reporting within our contracted competence. We do not perform audits, issue opinions on financial statements, give tax or accounting advice, or take custody of client funds. Judgments in those areas belong with your qualified professionals.
- We do not guarantee a business result. What we commit to is a measured baseline and a benefit calculation your finance team can audit.
Sending us something
Anything you send through the assessment form or by email is covered by the privacy page.
Do not send confidential material before there is a signed agreement. We have no duty of confidence over something you volunteer to a public web form, and we would rather you kept it until there is a proper channel.
If you send us an idea, a suggestion or feedback unprompted, we may use it without owing you anything for it. That is not us being clever -- it is the standard position, and it is here so you know it before you type.
An engagement is a separate agreement
Nothing on this site is an offer, a contract or a commitment to work together. Engagements run on a signed agreement which covers scope, price, included software and usage, third-party consumption and overages, support windows, improvement capacity in hours, response expectations and escalation.
That agreement also allocates rights explicitly: your data is yours, our shared platform is licensed to you, reusable non-confidential components remain ours, ownership of bespoke code is negotiated rather than assumed, data export is guaranteed, and exit assistance is defined and priced up front.
Where the agreement and this website disagree, the agreement wins.
Other people's material
Where we cite a source, we link it and paraphrase rather than reproduce it. Those sources belong to their authors and citing them does not imply they endorse us. If you own something we have cited and you think we have got it wrong or gone too far, email us and we will fix it quickly.
Our material
The words, diagrams and templates on this site are ours. Quote them with attribution. Do not republish a whole piece as your own.
Changes
We may change this page. If we do, the date at the top changes and the change is noted.
